Watch this video...
When any living thing is given love, they will never forget that love that was given. This Video made me feel emotional, it is so darling, how after over a year, the lion still comes and licks and hugs it's once owners. This is an example of True Kitty love! :)

Hand Of Hope

This picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture of the Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it. The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb! Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta . She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small

incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect
clarity. The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope." The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel

Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life." Little

Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness , it's about a little person." Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful. The world needs to see this one!

Biker at the Zoo

(This gave me the giggles so I thought you might enjoy it also)

A biker is riding by the zoo when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage.
Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his bike, runs to the cage, and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain, the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A NYT reporter has seen the whole scene and, addressing the biker, says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I have ever seen a man do in my whole life.'

'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.'

'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist from the New York Times, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this on the first page. What motorcycle do you ride and what political affiliation do you have?'

'A Harley Davidson and I am a Republican.'

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys The New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads on the first page:
REPUBLICAN BIKER GANG MEMBER ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND
STEALS HIS LUNCH.

Weekly Update

Hi every one
just thought I would stop by today and give you an update on what I have been doing this week,
I just watched a documentary that was very interesting on autism. It is about 4 different children that were actually completely cured of their autism! It was a great video and It may give hopes to many parents that have children with autism related illnesses. All four of the children are very smart now, one of them is an artist and The others are over average with intelligence and skills. It was great to see the outcome of these, once handicapped, children.

I just got some Spanish CDs that 'claim' to help you learn Spanish without any accent in as little time as possible. All you have to do is listen to the Cds and do the exercises. No Text Book, Nothing, Just CDs. I have always wanted to learn Spanish so I guess we will see How it goes!

I went to piano lessons this week and My piano teacher was considering having me do that same exercise I have been doing for at least 4 weeks! He decided not to though, so we are still friends :) lol

Some Thoughts on Autism

Hi every one,
I purchased a video (Documentary) a while back. I was watching it, and was totally amazed. The Video is about 5 autistic children that actually got cured from their autism, with the proper therapy and care. It was a amazing video, it told quite a bit about the program they used "C.A.R.D." is what it is called. It sounds like a wonderful resource for parents with children like this, some of the children that go through the treatment don't get cured all the way but do improved a lot. The people from CARD are very sweet, understanding, and they help not only the child with the disabilities, but the family a lot.
They are also making DVDs and things for parents who can't afford the therapy and other things required to help their child, so The parents can do it at home. It's great to see that Autism can be improved, or even cured!
You might wonder Why I talk about autism. I'll have to tell you something
I am a member of our volunteer fire department here. The Other day when I went to the usual training night of the week they were talking about the out break of measles in Arizona. They were suggesting that everyone in the department go and get the MMR vaccine. I wanted to know more about the vaccine so I went into research on it. I found a lot of information, some For it and some against it but one thing that stood out about it, is that it CAN cause autism in small children. I thought about it for a long time, then decided I would not take the vaccine. After reading all the side effects that CAN happen (but the side effects rarely get too exstreem, They Claim) I couldn't think of being the ONE out of how ever many millions of people just HAPPEN to get a really bad reaction.
I am still training so I don't go on ambulance calls yet, so I was not required to take vaccine. If I would have been running on the ambulance and I refused it I might not be able to run any more until the outbreak was No more. Now that would suck! But Since I'm not running anyways, I figured I wouldn't go get my self a shot of poison and see what kind of effects it had on me... specially after reading what happened to the small children, NO THANK YOU! I know some times people think i'm so paranoid about vaccines, but i'm really not. I'm not for them, and I'm not against them. They may work for some poeple but I didn't want to take the risk of it NOT working for me, And I end up in the hospital on dialisis or something worse like end up in the grave yard.
Well, If any one else is as big a freek about stuff like this, they may have enjoyed this post, but now that i'm done, if you are not interested in this kind of thing, you don't have to read this. LOL Just teasing. I Hope Y'all have a great day! :)

P.S. Will be posting more soon so if you enjoy my blog keep lookin'

That Dear Friend is YOU

Where is that friend that I can talk to
When Times are getting tough?
That Friend I can truly count on
When everything seems rough.
A friend who's understanding
And wants to help me through.
When my poor Heart is breaking,
That dear friend is YOU!

Oh Where can I run to find
That peace so deep inside?
It's to that friend who's always there
In Whom I can confide.
Where do I go when I feel
I do not have a friend,
And I need some one there who's
Kindness they can lend..
There is no need to look too far
For a friend so kind and true,
Because I've found a special friend
And that dear friend is YOU!

Just a note

Hi guys,
Excuse me for all the Friendship poems but I am just a friendshippy kind of person. Nearly every time I got to make a poem, it has to have something about friends in it... don't ask me why, it just does. I hope you enjoy these poems and I will be posting more things later. I didn't name this Blog Poetry on purpose because I don't seem to keep on any subject for long. I have a short attention span (hehe) I will post whatever I think, my latest experiments or thoughts (Well thoughts within reason!) . They will usually range around 4 main subjects though Poetry, Music, Medical and Joking.

A note for a Friend

I have seen many a person and went to different places,
I've walked some high rodes and some low ones too
but in all my travels through many times and spaces
have i met a friend so understanding as you!

Friendship to Me

To My Many Loveing Friends

Some people say that friendship is fun,
Others say it is pleasure.
But I say that friendship is a very
special gift that keeps us close together.
Friendship might be a thing to some that can
be discarded at anytime.
But I think if there were no friends in the
world there wouldn't be any rhyme.
Friendship is joy of the deepest measure which
never stops growing inside.
And a special friend is always there to cast
your fears aside!

Father, My Friend

My Father is my greatest friend
I love Him very much.
I hear him say "I love you"
And feel his special touch.
The love we share is a special gift
we keep within our hearts,
Sharing it from day to day
Where never fare apart.
Whether he is here beside me
or miles away on the darkest sea,
We are still together.
Him and me!

A Mother's Hands

To my loving mom

A mother's hands are loving.
A mother's hands are sweet.
A mother's hands are ruff
But gentle from so much work complete.
A mother's hands have meaning to all those she has cared
And even those she hasn't can see the load she bared.
A mother's life has dreams.
A mother's life has meaning.
Because the name of mother,
Means love from the begining.
